Glad to attempt this run, got to Kinlochleven 80 miles in 23:10 hours. Felt sick at Beinglas farm and couldn’t eat anything and this was at all checkpoints.
At Tyndrum I had tinned peaches and they helped me on a bit. Got my way up Devil Staircase ok and coming town to Kinlochleven my body gave up, felt sleepy and sick.
At Kinlochleven I tried to get some sleep but couldn’t settle on concrete floor and felt if I didn’t get an hour deep sleep, there was no way I could do another 14 miles. The mileage seems short but the terrain would of taken me over 5 hours.
So need to work on nutrition if I ever want to try this race again.

Forgot to turn phone on and missed turn of to Old Military Road, Had to turn gps of phone near Kinlochleven to save battery.
