Pilatus PC-6/B2-H4 plane over Helensburgh 30052020

Beautiful morning here in Helensburgh, Scotland and sitting out in the back garden while my son Roddy rolling his head side to side while hearing the birds singing.

Every so often we would get a plane flying across every 30 minutes, so looked up the flightradar24 app and found this Pilatus PC-6/B2-H4 plane, making a wonderful pattern over the Helensburgh – Kilgreagan skies.

The flight was from Prestwick airport, and they spent a good few hours flying to Dumbarton, Balloch and across to the Garelochhead areas.

From the hole at the bottom of the plane they must be taking photos or video for mapping, and they have a great cloudless day for it.

Later in the afternoon the plane must have got refuelled and came back, taking pictures/video over Glasgow.

This has been a fun day under lockdown…
